On July 4th, Jane Ngoiri, a renowned Kenyan broadcaster, took to her social media platforms to reminisce about her father, who left this world seven years ago.

She shared a poignant photo of herself in her graduation gown standing beside her late father, accompanied by a touching tribute: "Those we love never go away; they walk beside us every day. Seven years ago, the world’s greatest dad breathed his last… Wawa you are dearly missed," she wrote.

With a career spanning multiple media outlets, Jane has been recognized for her exceptional work. In 2020, she received the Head of State Commendation from President Uhuru Kenyatta, a testament to her dedication and excellence in the field.

Her departure from NTV, where she served as a Kiswahili news anchor, left many of her fans saddened. Although she didn't disclose the reasons behind her resignation, she hinted at pursuing her own projects.

Before joining NTV, Jane worked at K24 as an English news reporter from 2011. She left the station in search of growth opportunities, a decision that ultimately led her to where she is today.
