On July 4, 2021, Rachel Shebesh, the former Chief Administrative Secretary, marked a significant birthday – her 50th. The milestone was celebrated in style with a grand party at the Cavana Restaurant in Kilimani, Nairobi.
The event, dubbed 'Shebesh Fabulous at 50,' was an exclusive, invite-only affair that drew a who's who of Nairobi's elite. Guests included Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Nairobi Deputy Governor Anne Kananu, Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, and former Nairobi Speaker Beatrice Elachi, among others.
Shebesh, resplendent in a petite black dress and golden neck piece, was the epitome of elegance and poise. The party was entertained by Ghetto Radio's DJ Double Trouble.
The former CAS made headlines earlier in the year after revealing that former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero had paid her Ksh. 30 Million for a slap.
