On July 3, 2021, DCI officer Anne Wanjiru Waiganjo tragically passed away after collapsing at a restaurant in Upper Hill, Nairobi.
According to the police report, Waiganjo was attending a farewell party for a senior police officer, SSP Henry M. Kiambata, at Baita Restaurant when she suddenly collapsed at around 5 pm.
She was rushed to Nairobi Hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to Kenyatta University Mortuary.
