Wajir Mourns Loss of Dedicated Ward Representative

Wajir County is in mourning following the sudden death of Ibrahim Abass, the Eldas Ward Representative, on July 4, 2021.

Abass passed away at the Wajir International Airport while awaiting an emergency flight to Nairobi for medical treatment.

Wajir Governor Ahmed Ali Muktar expressed his condolences to Abass's family, friends, and the people of Eldas Ward, describing him as a dedicated leader who advocated for excellent services for the people of Wajir.

"I convey my deepest condolences to the family, friends and the people of Eldas Ward and by extension the people of Wajir County over this sudden and painful loss," Governor Muktar said.

"May the Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul-Firdaus and forgive his sins. May Allah, Rahmani Rahim, expand his grave and light it with his blessings, Ameen ya Allah!" he added.
