England's Harry Kane scored twice as the team thrashed Ukraine 4-0 on July 3, 2021, at the Stadio Olimpico, securing their first European Championship semi-final appearance since 1996.

England's captain, Harry Kane, scored the opener just four minutes into the match after receiving a through ball from Raheem Sterling. The goal marked England's earliest goal in a Euros match since 2004.

Harry Maguire headed in the second goal less than a minute into the second half, and Kane soon nodded in his side's third as Ukraine's resistance crumbled.

Substitute Jordan Henderson completed the rout with his first international goal, scoring from six yards out after a corner kick.

England will face Denmark at Wembley on July 7, 2021, for a place in the final after the Danes defeated the Czech Republic 2-1 in Baku.
