Thomas Delaney opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a downward header from a corner kick, giving Denmark an early lead.
Just before halftime, Kasper Dolberg doubled the lead with a well-placed shot from an inch-perfect cross by Joakim Maehle.
However, the Czechs managed to pull one back four minutes after the restart when Patrik Schick guided a Vladimir Coufal cross into the bottom corner, bringing the score to 2-1.
