On Saturday, 3rd July, the Ministry of Health confirmed 531 new Covid-19 cases from 8,154 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Published on 3rd July 2021, this brings the country's caseload to 185,591, with a cumulative number of samples tested since March last year standing at 1,978,155.
The country's positivity rate now stands at 6.5 per cent.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced that from the new cases, 515 are Kenyans while 16 are foreigners, with 257 females and 274 males affected.
The youngest patient is a one-year-old baby, while the oldest is 93 years old.
Kenya's death toll rose to 3,671, after 20 more patients succumbed to the virus.
Of the new cases, 276 patients have recovered from the disease, with 151 recovering from the home-based and isolation care programme and 125 from various health facilities.
There are 1,144 patients admitted to various health facilities, while 5,785 patients are under home-based isolation and care programme.
Some 124 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with 39 on ventilatory support, 51 on supplemental oxygen, and 34 patients under observation.
Another 152 patients are separately on supplemental oxygen, with 137 in the general wards and 15 in the High Dependency Units (HDU).
As of the latest update, a total of 1,468,908 vaccines had been administered across the country, with the total first doses at 1,016,190 and the second ones at 452,718.
