Published on July 3, 2021, Mungai Eve's YouTube channel has gained over 140,000 subscribers and achieved close to 18 million views since January 2020.

At the time of creating the channel, Eve was not familiar with the social media ecosystem but was eager to learn and become a YouTuber.

Her boyfriend, Director Trevor, was instrumental in setting up the channel, and the couple started monetizing their content within a week of creating it.

According to Eve, the more views they get, the more revenue they increase, and what they earn this month may not be the same amount next month.

Director Trevor added that the reason they make money from YouTube is that their previous videos are still being watched.

The Mungai Eve channel focuses on projecting unscripted real-life experiences of youths from informal settlements, and her impact in Nairobi and the online community includes the discovery of Madocho wa Kanairo, a self-styled sheng master.

She has also interviewed other celebrities like Crazy Kennar and Mejja.
