Published on July 3, 2021, the Naivasha rally was a weekend to remember for many, with thousands of people from across the country and internationally attending the World Rally Championships.
However, the event took a shocking turn as cars were turned into bars and lodgings, and celebrants exchanged fluids in tents and nearby thickets, depicting a behaviour of wickedness.
According to King's Condom Promotion CEO, Stanley Ngara, also known as the 'King of Condom', the company distributed over 150,000 condoms during the three-day event.
"We distributed over 150,000 condoms in 3 days, which is equal to three pickup automobiles. We had been scheduling for Safari Rally event for long and I'm happy that many lives will be saved," Ngara said.
Ngara's goal was to ensure that participants had safe sex, and he was happy to report that his goal was achieved.
"We were targeting the youth and Safari Rally enthusiasts, who had flocked the platform for 3 days. We wanted them to engage in safe sex after a night of partying," he added.
However, after the event, community groups were engaged in a clean-up exercise, during which over 120,000 used condoms were collected.
