On a sunny Friday, July 2, 2021, the Nairobi Polo Club witnessed thrilling matches in the OMT Bowl Cup tournament. The Connaught Cup Division Two Championships kicked off with Gipsy taking on MICT, and the former emerged victorious with a score of 6-5.

The Nzomo siblings, Hiromi and Amani, played a crucial role in Gipsy's win, providing all the assists that led to Julian Czmm scoring six goals. Czmm's impressive performance in the first chukka, second chukka, third chukka, and fourth chukka gave Gipsy a strong head start in the tournament.

Phillip Arunga opened the scoring for MICT in the first chukka, but Gipsy's strong defense and the Nzomo siblings' exceptional playmaking skills ensured that they maintained their lead throughout the match. Will Millar and Meagan Griffiths each scored a double for MICT, but it was not enough to overcome Gipsy's lead.

Meanwhile, in the Red Bull Trophy, the Division Three of the Connaught Cup, Scissors made a mixed start to the tournament. They won their first match against Paper with a score of 6-1, with Ed Burbridge, Fredd Kambo, Jammie Excel, and Simon Muchene playing impressive polo. However, their second match against Rock ended in a 3-3 draw, with Kambo scoring a double and Excel scoring the other for Scissors.

Rock replied with goals from international Aisha Gross, who scored twice, and Rob Koitaba, who equalized for his team. In their second match, Paper made amends by winning 3-2 against Rock, who had a bad day in office.
