Dandora Stadium, a long-awaited community facility, is at the center of a heated dispute over its reopening date.

Just a day after a meeting between the Dandora Stadium Committee, Embakasi North MCAs, and County Secretary Jairus Musumba agreed to postpone the reopening by a month, a group of youths has come out in strong opposition to the decision.

The youths claim that the meeting was a betrayal of the community's trust and that they will continue with the original plan to reopen the stadium tomorrow.

'We want to tell Seke and the MCAs who were in that meeting that we shall not postpone the re-opening of the stadium if you were bribed that's up to you labda mlilishwa thao mbili, thao tatu labda promise empty hiyo hatutatki,' they said.

The disagreement highlights the deep-seated frustration among Dandora residents, who have been waiting for a long time to use the stadium.
