On Thursday, I&M Group announced that it has officially changed its name from I&M Holdings following a successful shareholder approval and the receipt of a certificate of name change from the Registrar of Companies on June 28, 2021.
The company's expansion into wealth management and advisory services is expected to drive business growth through revenue diversification, targeting high net worth and premium customers.
According to the company, the new wealth management and advisory services will be offered through I&M Capital, a subsidiary of I&M Group PLC.
"We are proud to launch the Wealth Management and Advisory Services Business, that looks to help build, manage and protect our customers' wealth," said Mr. Daniel Ndonye, Chairman, I&M Capital.
With a presence in five countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, and Mauritius, I&M Group operates through its subsidiaries and is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange with a market capitalization of Ksh 37.5 billion.
