On July 2, 2021, a 53-year-old caretaker was charged with defiling two minors in Kisumu.
According to reports, the caretaker would allegedly give the minors between Sh20 and Sh100 to buy chips, instructing them not to tell anyone.
The case has sparked concerns about the vulnerability of minors in the area.
