On Thursday, 1st July, Fulham Football Club confirmed the appointment of Marco Silva as their new head coach, signing a three-year contract.
Former Everton, Hull City, and Watford boss Silva, 43, will be assisted by former Fulham forward and fellow Portuguese Luis Boa Morte, who made 250 appearances for the west London club.
‘I’m really pleased and proud to be appointed head coach of such a historic football club,’ Silva said, thanking the owner, Mr Khan, Tony Khan, and the entire football structure of Fulham Football Club for the trust shown in him.
With his first task being a push for promotion after the club was relegated from the English Premier League last season, Silva has been out of work since he was sacked by Everton in December 2019.
Before joining Everton, Silva managed Hull City from January 2017, but resigned after the club was relegated to the Sky Bet Championship.
