A court has since established that Vincent Misita was the perpetrator behind the theft, stealing his landlord's ATM card and withdrawing money.
According to the court's findings, Misita used the stolen money to build his own house.
On July 2, 2021, the court handed down a jail sentence to Misita for his crimes.
