Published on July 1, 2021, Belgium's unbeaten streak will be put to the test as they face Italy in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals on Friday night.

The Red Devils, who have not lost this year, will be looking to extend their record of 14 consecutive wins in the qualifiers and finals, a mark they share with Germany and their opponents Italy.

Belgium's Thorgan Hazard scored a remarkable first-half strike against Portugal in Seville last Sunday, securing their place in the quarter-finals of a fourth successive major tournament.

However, coach Roberto Martinez lost both Kevin De Bruyne and Thorgan's brother Eden Hazard to injury in the match.

Belgium's goalkeeper Thibault Courtois made a string of saves to seal progress, and the team has now won each of their last 14 matches throughout the qualifiers and these finals.

The stage is set for a thrilling encounter between Belgium and Italy at Munich's Allianz Arena, with both teams seeking a 15th consecutive success in the tournament.
