Celebrity photographer Tim Visuals fell victim to a scam in Roysambu on June 29, 2021, losing Sh300,000 worth of equipment to two ladies posing as clients.

According to Tim, the two ladies were referred to him by a photographer who was unable to take up the job and decided to pass on the opportunity.

They asked Tim to meet them at an Airbnb at Boon Apartments in Roysambu, where he was offered coffee and soon started feeling drowsy.

Tim was robbed of all his equipment, including his iPhone, and was left unconscious for several hours.

CCTV footage obtained from the building showed the two ladies leaving at 10 am, but by the time Tim regained consciousness, it was 8 pm.

A toxicology report revealed that Tim was drugged using Benzodiazepines, a type of sedative medication.

Tim's colleagues have accused the lady in charge of the Airbnb, Doris, of being complicit in the heist, as she appeared agitated by the probe into the turn of events.

However, Doris claimed that the CCTV cameras had not been working for some time, but the building's caretaker confirmed that they were functioning.

One of Tim's colleagues described Doris's behavior as 'rude' and 'agitated' during the investigation.
