Ambassador John Mwangemi has taken over as the acting Managing Director of the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), succeeding Eng. Rashid Salim who has been in the position since March 28, 2020.
Eng. Salim took over as the acting MD after the departure of Eng. Rashid Salim's predecessor, and his tenure has seen the implementation of various projects aimed at improving the efficiency of the port operations.
As the new acting MD, Ambassador Mwangemi is expected to continue the good work of his predecessor and steer the authority towards achieving its set goals and objectives.
