Kenya's Covid-19 positivity rate has reached 9.8% with 184,537 confirmed cases, according to Health CS Mutahi Kagwe.
Of the new cases, 363 are Kenyans while 13 are foreigners, with 230 males and 146 females affected.
The youngest person to contract the virus is an eleven-month-old baby, while the oldest is 91 years old.
As of today, a total of 1,963,532 cumulative tests have been conducted, with 1,417,100 vaccines administered across the country.
Of these, 1,010,954 are first doses, while 406,146 are second doses, with a 40.2% uptake of the second dose among those who received their first dose.
Sadly, 6 patients have succumbed to the disease, all of whom were late deaths reported after conducting facility record audits on diverse dates in April and June 2021.
