Willy Paul's recent social media post announcing that Size 8 had unfollowed and blocked him on Instagram has sparked a heated debate in the music industry.
According to Willy Paul, Size 8's decision to block him was a surprise, especially given her status as a gospel artist who preaches forgiveness.
"SIZE 8, YOU BLOCKED ME ON INSTAGRAM JUST LIKE THAT. 4YRS NOW. IS THAT WHAT GOD'S PEOPLE DO?? SURELY NI GOSPEL GANI HII??? ATA SIMU ZANGU HAUSHIKI. THOUGHT TULIKUA BROTHER NA SISTER. ANYWAY THANKS ALOT WOMAN OF GOD. REMEMBER, NO ONE IS PERFECT!"
Willy Paul wrote in his post.
However, DJ Mo quickly came to his wife's defense, using the famous phrase #Nitakufinya.
"Nitakufinya… Niko na kazi - You know me well, you know what am capable of doing … Nitakufinya last warning "
reads DJ's comment on Willy Paul's post.
Willy Paul responded by saying that DJ Mo should not interfere in his personal matters.
"Sasa huyu mtu tunaulizana nini? Kama mbaya mbaya, ukweli usemwe tu. Mambo yangu na Size 8 wachana nayo. Wewe ambia serekali ikupatie kazi!!"
he said.
However, many netizens believe that Willy Paul's claims are just a publicity stunt to create attention before a potential collaboration with Size 8.
Willy Paul has previously worked with Size 8 on several songs, including Tam Tam Remix, Tiga Wana, and Sijafika.
Just last week, Willy Paul announced that he had left the gospel industry due to the hypocrisy and hatred he faced from his fellow artists and DJs.
"Some of you ask me why I left the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. And even call me names because I no longer praise Jesus in my songs... according to them I'm so evil and everything bad. Those are the same people that fought me nikiwa upande wa Yesu"
he said in part.
