On July 1, 2021, the highly anticipated Athletics Kenya National World Under-20 trials kicked off at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya.
As part of the event's preparations, the Local Organising Committee conducted COVID-19 tests for all journalists covering the event.
