On July 1, 2021, Deputy President William Ruto paid a visit to ailing Starehe MP Charles Njagua, popularly known as Jaguar, at a Nairobi hospital where he was recuperating from knee surgery.
According to sources, the MP had undergone surgery on his right foot on Monday morning after experiencing pain for some days.
DP Ruto's visit aimed at wishing the MP a quick recovery as he recuperated from the operation.
Leaders who accompanied the DP during the visit included Nixon Korir (Lang'ata), George Theuri (Embakasi West), Mohammed Ali (Nyali), Hon John Kiarie (Dagoretti South), and Hon Yusuf Hassan (Kamukunji).
Musician DK Kwenye Beat stated that the MP was responding well to the medication following the surgery, and that the knee issue had been troubling the MP for a long time.
