July 1, 2021 - The Premier League has seen significant changes in recent days, with Tottenham Hotspur and Everton FC both announcing new managers.
Tottenham has appointed Nuno Espírito Santo as its new head coach, signing a three-year contract until 2024. The 47-year-old Portuguese manager previously led Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez has taken over as the new manager of Everton FC, signing a contract until June 2024. Benitez, a former Liverpool manager, was approached by Italian clubs but prioritized the Premier League job.
Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka, although no official bid has been made. Goretzka's current contract with Bayern Munich runs until 2023.
Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Juventus remains uncertain, with the club waiting for the player and his agent Jorge Mendes to decide whether they will leave the Italian side this summer or not. Ronaldo is still under contract with Juventus until June 2022.
Additionally, Arsenal has agreed a deal to sign 21-year-old Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht for a reported €17.5M, with add-ons included. Leicester City has also completed the signing of Patson Daka, who has signed a contract until June 2026 and completed his medicals one week ago in Salzburg.
