Reverend Lucy Natasha has responded to allegations of cultism made by a former friend, Martha Mwihaki Hinga. The allegations surfaced on social media, claiming that Natasha had engaged in cult-like behavior.

According to Natasha, the allegations are completely false. In a statement shared on her social media platforms, she said,

"As a ministry that is very active in preaching through various social media platforms, we seek to unequivocally dissociate ourselves with a malicious story tarnishing the reputation of our leader Rev Natasha and the ministry we are doing"

Natasha also claimed that the Facebook account sharing the allegations is a pseudo account.

She further argued that the Empowerment Christian Church, which she founded, was established in 2017, contradicting the claim that she met Mwihaki in 2014. Mwihaki had alleged that she found cult paraphernalia in Natasha's office at the church.

Additionally, Natasha denied claims that she had tried to hook Mwihaki up with a Nigerian pastor who wanted sexual favors. She also dismissed claims that she had vanished into thin air and reappeared with her mother in her office.

Reverend Natasha recently returned from the US, where she had attended a series of crusades in different cities, including Texas and New York.
