June 30, 2021 - Tusker FC has secured a spot in the 2021-2022 Caf Champions League, marking their return to the continental club competitions after a five-year absence.

The brewers' victory over Ulinzi Stars in a five-goal thriller at Nakuru Show ASK Grounds on Wednesday sealed their place in the prestigious tournament.

Tusker's win saw them remain top of the standings with 47 points, meeting the deadline set by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for submitting the name of Kenya's representative at next season's Caf Champions League.

FKF had earlier communicated that they would submit the name of Kenya's representative by the end of June 30, the deadline set by Caf.

Robert Matano's side will now represent Kenya in the 2021-2022 Caf Champions League, a feat they last achieved in 2017 when they fell 3-2 to Mauritania's AS Port-Louis at the preliminary stage.
