Actor Omosh's Begging Tactics Backfire ¶
Actor Omosh, also known as Joseph Kinuthia, has been at the center of controversy after begging Kenyans for financial help, only to squander the funds and return for more. This is not the first time Omosh has been in the spotlight for his financial struggles, having received Ksh 1 million from Kenyans just three months prior.
However, Omosh's second viral video, where he begged Kenyans to step in financially, was met with backlash, hilarious jokes, and memes about his begging tactics.
Published on June 30, 2021, Omosh's second viral video sparked a PR stunt to control the damage, leading to an interview with journalist Hiram Maina.
Apology and Rehab Plans ¶
During the interview, Omosh apologized to Kenyans for being greedy and unreasonable, stating that he had no intentions to anger Kenyans or push them to hate him.
However, when asked about his plans to go to rehab, Omosh downplayed the idea, stating that he had been to rehab twice and that rehab can only be a personal decision. He also claimed that he did not see the point of going back to rehab, but rather visiting a counselor once in a while would be the best option for him.
