On the eve of this year's Madaraka Day, Telkom announced its commitment to providing Kenyans with easier access to its services, including a life-time offer of free mobile internet data and talk time.

As part of the Madaraka Life offer, Telkom customers will receive 1GB of free mobile internet data and 100 minutes of free talk time every month, allowing them to stay connected and access essential technology services.

According to Telkom's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mugo KIBATI, the company understands the importance of access to communications services in today's digital age. 'Making calls and being able to connect to the Internet are now a basic need for all,' he said.

As part of the offer, customers will also be registered to T-kash, Telkom's mobile money service, and receive an instant cashback of KSh.50 to their mobile wallet upon successful registration.

Earlier this year, Mr. KIBATI emphasized the importance of Telkom's core terrestrial network in keeping customers connected, and the company's long-term plan to expand its network to 80% of 4G.

On May 2021, Telkom announced the integration of T-kash with the government digital services platform, eCitizen, enabling customers to make payments for various services, including those offered by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

To access the offer, customers can dial 44458#.
