On the night of June 30, 2021, a rare drama unfolded at a high-end estate in Syokimau, Machakos County, involving the wives of Nairobi Matutu boss Jamal Roho Safi.
The incident began when Jamal's first wife, Amira, reportedly stormed the home of her co-wife, socialite Amber Ray, just minutes before 10 pm.
Both women took to Instagram to share their sides of the story, attracting thousands of online onlookers.
Amira, accompanied by several women, blamed her husband for the drama, stating that she had to fight to protect the peace of her two children.
Amber Ray, however, accused Amira of insulting her, claiming that her co-wife had branded her a 'prostitute' and faulted her for using charms to win Jamal.
Amber Ray said, 'My co-wife should know that I don’t chase men and she must accept me.'
The two women engaged in a heated name-calling fight for over an hour, with Jamal eventually leaving them to confront each other.
Later, he returned home with a bouquet of flowers for both of his spouses, but Amira threw hers in the dust bin, while Amber Ray gladly accepted the gift.
