Ciru Njuguna, 29, and her husband Greg Twiss, 60, are living proof that love knows no bounds, not even age. The couple, who met on Facebook, has been married for several years and has twin children who are about to turn eight.
Greg, a divorcee, was 52 years old when he met Ciru, who was just 20 at the time. Despite the significant age gap, the couple says they are deeply in love and are living their best life together.
Greg, who sold everything he owned in Germany to move to Kenya, says he was determined to be with Ciru, despite the negative stories about Kenyan women swindling white men.
“I sold everything I had in Germany and came to Kenya because I wanted a family with Mary,” he said in a recent TV interview.
When asked about the age gap, Ciru says it doesn't bother her, and that she is used to derogatory statements being hurled at her by passersby. However, some comments can be too mean, and she has even been called a potential killer.
The couple's love story is a testament to the power of true love, and they urge the public to let other people be and not judge them based on their relationship.
