Ringtone Apoko, a self-proclaimed Gospel Chairman, has been at the center of a controversy after a young woman accused him of impregnating her and later ignoring her calls.
The woman, who goes by the name Akuju mbosso on Instagram, claims that she met Ringtone at a hotel to discuss work opportunities, but things took a different turn.
According to Akuju, she and Ringtone ended up having sex, which led to her becoming pregnant. However, Ringtone allegedly stopped picking up her calls after she informed him of her pregnancy.
Akuju took to social media to share her story, writing, 'Hey guys... I was looking for a job, then I met Ringtone Apoko. He promised to give me a job. We met at a hotel, and unfortunately, we ended up sleeping together... I missed my periods, so I went for a pregnancy test, and I found out I was pregnant... I've been trying to reach Ringtone, but he's not picking up my calls since he found out I'm pregnant.'
Ringtone has denied the allegations, claiming that he cannot impregnate any woman. In a bizarre response, he wrote, 'PLEASE KENYANS BUY ME CHARGER BCOS MY PHONE IS DEATH. ALSO SOMEONE TOLD THAT WOMAN AM HAD ACCIDENT 2 YEARS AGO AND DOCTORS ARE REMOVED MY PRIVATE PARTS.'
This is not the first time Ringtone has been accused of taking advantage of young women. Socialite Bridget Achieng previously accused him of taking advantage of her before she became famous.
