Kenyan rapper Nyashinski's wife Zipporah 'Zia' Jepkemei Bett has spoken candidly about her experience with motherhood, revealing she was not prepared for the demands of caring for a newborn.

As a businesswoman and founder of Keto Life, Bett welcomed her first child with Nyashinski, whose real name is Nyamari Ongegu, a year ago.

Speaking in a recent online interview, Bett shared that she had a 'good pregnancy' but found the first few months after giving birth to be challenging.

'I didn't imagine what motherhood would be like,' she said. 'You just imagine it would be fun, playing with your baby, and you bond instantly. But motherhood is quite demanding and that's a side that only mums can understand.'

Bett also expressed her concern about the lack of support for new mothers in today's society, stating that 'there is no woman who is lonely than a new mother in this age because there is no family structure, there is not neighborhood structure.'

Her comments come after she opened up about her struggle to lose weight after the birth of their son in March.

As one of Kenya's most popular and respected musicians, Nyashinski has been married to Bett for several years and has been open about his personal life.
