On June 29, 2021, Telkom Kenya introduced Madaraka Life, a groundbreaking lifetime offer that promises Kenyans real independence. This innovative service provides free monthly 1GB data and 100 minutes of talk time, making mobile internet data and talk time more accessible to the masses.
According to Telkom, the Madaraka Life offer is a once-off payment of 100 Kshs, which grants users access to this amazing service. New customers can enjoy this offer and also get registered to Telkom's mobile money service, T-kash, with an instant cashback of Ksh50 to their mobile money wallet.
Existing customers are not left out either, as they can partake in the offer by loading 100Kshs airtime and receive an instant cashback of Ksh50 to their T-kash wallet. The offer can be accessed via the USSD code 44458#.
Telkom has stated that Madaraka Life will initially be rolled out in Nairobi, but will eventually be available across Kenya, allowing users to enjoy the independence of making any region their office for the day.
