Fulham Football Club has announced that manager Scott Parker has left the club by mutual consent, effective immediately.

Several members of Parker's backroom staff, including Matt Wells, Rob Burch, Alastair Harris, Jonathan Hill, and Charlie Moore, have also departed the club.

Scott Parker took caretaker charge of Fulham in February 2019, guiding the team to safety in the final 10 matches of the 2018/19 English Premier League season.

He was appointed head coach on a permanent basis in May 2019 and led the team to promotion back to the Premier League in August 2020, defeating Brentford in the Championship play-off Final at Wembley Stadium.

However, Fulham was relegated to the English Championship after a 2-0 home defeat to Burnley in May 2021.

Fulham chairman Shahid Khan expressed his support for Parker, stating, 'Through promotion and relegation, Scott has always enjoyed my support as our head coach. Scott's departure does nothing to shake my confidence, however.'

The club has vowed to hire a new head coach who will lead the team to promotion and field a competitive squad.

Scott Parker is reportedly linked to the Bournemouth job, with his contract expiring on June 30.

Bournemouth failed to secure a return to the English Premier League after losing to Brentford in the semi-finals of the play-offs last season.
