Published on June 28, 2021, three Kenyans have become overnight multi-millionaires after winning the Odibets Euro Jackpot with a mere 20 Shillings.
Vincent Olusala, George Otieno, and Amos Otulo won Sh6,666,000 each after placing their bets on the Odibets EuroJackpot.
According to Vincent Olusala, a resident of Matayos in Busia County, he had been placing his bets with Odibets but had never tried their jackpots. He placed his winning bet at the start of the 2020 Uefa Euro tournament and was surprised to receive a call that he had won the Jackpot.
George Otieno, a resident of Siaya County, claims to have received his winning call as he herded his cattle. He said he loves watching soccer and decided to place his bets early when the Uefa Euro tournament started.
Amos Otulo, a lab technician in Kisumu, had never played the Euro Jackpot before but decided to try his luck after analyzing the games. He was surprised to receive the call that he had won.
Early this year, John Ngumi, a bodaboda operator in Nairobi's Embakasi area, placed his jackpot bet on the Odibets platform and was lucky to win Sh2,164,000 as a bonus of the Sh105,000,000 jackpot.
