Published on June 28, 2021, the Ministry of Health reported a positivity rate of 10.6% with 287 new cases of Covid-19.
Among the new cases, 280 are Kenyans, while 7 are foreigners. The cases comprise 170 males and 117 females.
The youngest case is a three-month-old infant, while the oldest is 89 years old.
As of today, the total confirmed positive cases stand at 182,884, with cumulative tests conducted at 1,945,736.
Of the new cases, 152 patients have recovered from the disease, with 84 recovering from the Home Based and Isolation Care program and 68 from various health facilities countrywide.
Unfortunately, 17 patients have succumbed to the disease, all of whom were late deaths reported after conducting facility record audits on diverse dates in April, May, and June.
As of today, a total of 1,293,004 vaccines have been administered across the country, with 1,003,204 first doses and 289,800 second doses.
