Diamond Steals the Show at BET Awards Red Carpet ¶
On June 28, 2021, the BET Awards Gala took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with actress Taraji P. Henson as the Host.
Among the A-list celebrities who attended the event was Diamond Platnumz, who made a stunning appearance on the red carpet in a Maasai attire. The outfit drew attention from everyone present, with many asking for photos and selfies with him.
While many of the celebrities who attended the event opted for designer clothes and suits, Diamond Platnumz chose to represent his Swahili Nation in a classic African attire, which indeed was stunning.
The 2021 BET Awards honored Black excellence across music, television, film, and sports in 21 categories. At the Awards, Female rapper Megan Thee Stallion dominated the Awards gala by taking home several awards, including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Video of the Year, and Best Collaboration for "WAP," her duet with Cardi B.
Nigerian singer Burna Boy won the BET Award for the third time, crowned the Best International Act. He first won the Award in 2019, 2020, and now 2021.
