Former Tahidi High actor Omosh has found himself in the spotlight once again, this time for all the wrong reasons. A video of him in a drunken state has surfaced online, sparking widespread criticism and calls for him to seek rehabilitation.

The video, which was recorded about a month ago, shows Omosh struggling to walk with the help of a man. He is dressed in a dirty navy blue three-piece suit, a stark contrast to the image of a successful actor.

Many Kenyans have taken to social media to express their disappointment and frustration with Omosh's behavior, comparing it to that of the popular Githeri Man who was also given lots of money but ended up in a drunken stupor.

“This guy should be taken to rehab. It’s not a laughing matter, many people are suffering from alcoholism,” said Tim Jimmy on Facebook.

However, not everyone has been critical of Omosh. Some have come to his defense, calling for people to check on their friends and family members who may be struggling with addiction.

“Growing up and being conscious of what you say is hard. Halfway through trolling Omosh you remember your friends are alcoholics too and now you feel bad,” commented Wamuhu on Twitter.

It's worth noting that Omosh has asked for help before, and it seems that he has not learned from his previous mistakes. In a recent post, he asked for money to help him get back on his feet, claiming that he had spent less than Sh1 million on his previous endeavors.

“Manze kama ulisema unanitumia kakitu kwani kaliendaje? Bado nategea tu… Kusema tu uwkeli nilipata less than Sh1 million shillings. Nikalipa madeni, chuo ya watoi, juu nilikuwa nimekaa one year, four months bila kulipa,” he said.

However, Jalang’o, who was among those who fundraised heavily for Omosh, has come out to attack the comedian for begging again. “Some people never learn! I can easily assure you that Omosh got more than 1 million from my show. Personally, in cash he got more than 700K, then people sent money directly to him,” he said.
