On June 27, 2021, a tragic incident unfolded in Kitale, where a woman's life took a devastating turn. Nancy Murigo Kabuchu, a 22-year-old, allegedly stabbed her husband, Stanley Kariuki, 29, in a fit of rage over a land dispute.
According to a police report, the couple had a heated argument over money from a land lease that Stanley had failed to share with Nancy. The dispute escalated, and in a shocking turn of events, Nancy allegedly stabbed her husband.
Stanley, however, managed to call his cousin, who rushed to the scene and took him to the hospital. Unfortunately, despite receiving medical attention, Stanley succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The suspect, Nancy Murigo Kabuchu, is currently being held at the Kitale police station as the authorities launch a probe into the murder incident.
