Tejveer Rai, a WRC Safari Rally champion, crashed out of the competition on the second day of the rally. The incident occurred while Rai was driving a Volks Wagon GTI Polo with his co-driver Gareth Dawe.

According to reports, the car's nose-dived into the ground, causing it to roll three times. Fortunately, both Rai and Dawe escaped the crash unharmed.
