Published on June 26, 2021, TechMoran reported that Huawei is preparing to introduce its new phone Nova 8i for its mid-range market.
The Chinese tech giant is working on adding another member to the Nova 8 family, with the smartphone specifications leaked ahead of its launch.
Expected Features of Huawei Nova 8i ¶
The Nova 8i is expected to have a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution and DCI-P3 color gamut, offering a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio.
The device will feature a hole screen design for the front camera and a quad-camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64 MP primary lens with an f/1.9 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, a 2 MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The smartphone will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 mobile platform and run Emui 11 based on Android 10, with the company expected to update the phone to HarmonyOS later.
The phone will have a 4,300mAh battery with support for 66W Huawei SuperCharge, which performs 0-100% charge in 38 minutes.
Huawei Nova 8i will have three color options: silver, black, and blue, and will primarily go to Southeast Asian markets, although it is not yet known whether the device will be available globally.
