On June 26, 2021, Mwala Member of Parliament Eng. Vincent Musyoka commissioned a newly constructed Sub County Police Commander's office in Masii, funded by the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).
According to Musyoka, the NG-CDF was established to address socio-economic development challenges at the constituency level, with the aim of reducing poverty and enhancing regional equity.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Musyoka emphasized the importance of addressing these challenges to improve the lives of the people in the region.
Machakos County Assembly Speaker Florence Mwangangi also attended the event and commended the local police officers for maintaining peace in the region. She appealed to residents to continue supporting the security apparatus by providing vital information on any suspects in their midst.
Also in attendance were the Mwala Sub County Police Commander Ronald Kirui and other leaders.
