Kenyan content creator Williams Magunga's life took an unexpected turn when he received an invitation to co-drive with Red Bull athlete Adrien Fourmaux at the Safari Rally Kenya shakedown on June 23, 2021.

Magunga, known for his storytelling and visual content, had always been fascinated by the Safari Rally and had never expected to experience it firsthand. However, his curiosity and quest for adventure storytelling led him to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

On June 23, 2021, the Safari Rally Kenya shakedown took place at Ndulele, where 15 drivers from both international and local teams tested their cars before the main event on Thursday.

Magunga's experience was nothing short of exhilarating as he co-drove with Adrien Fourmaux, a Red Bull athlete and M-Sport Ford team driver. The shakedown wound through about 5.4km, giving Magunga a taste of what it's like to be behind the wheel of a high-performance car.

“I survived! Can I do this again? It was a thrilling experience, being in the safe hands of one of the best drivers made this experience worth it. It was truly an experience money can’t buy and I’m honored to have had the opportunity!” Magunga exclaimed after the drive.

Adrien Fourmaux, a seasoned WRC driver, has had a successful career, claiming his first WRC point in the 2019 Rallye Monte-Carlo and finishing ninth in 2020's Rally Turkey.
