On June 24, 2021, President Uhuru Kenyatta launched the World Rally Championship at the Kenyatta International Conference Center in Nairobi, Kenya.
Kenyan hip-hop star Majimaji, half of the legendary duo Gidigidi and Majimaji, took to Instagram to share a video of the rally cars revving their engines with Unbwogable blaring from the speakers.
"Unbwogable #safarirally," Majimaji captioned the video, which quickly filled with praises from fans.
"Classic… Hit forever," wrote nebulazzkenya, while fololo_fololo added, "Good Music lives forever."
Unbwogable, released in 2002, remains a Kenyan all-time classical hit, having shaped the country's political landscape as an anthem for the Opposition Coalition National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) in ending former President Moi's reign.
The song's theme of being unstoppable in one's quest to greatness has been echoed in this year's WRC, which has taken centerstage in Naivasha.
