On June 25, 2021, Truehost Cloud launched OLITT, a no-code website builder that enables users to create websites and online stores in minutes.
OLITT is an AI-powered platform that allows small business owners, professionals, and individuals to build their online stores or portfolio sites quickly without writing a single line of code.
According to David Murimi, OLITT's representative, the platform is designed for small business owners, professionals, and blue-collar professionals who want to build their online stores or portfolio sites as fast as possible.
OLITT supports multiple payment platforms, including M-PESA, Airtel Money, Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, and PayPal, among others across Africa.
David Murimi noted that anyone can use OLITT, making it as simple as using WhatsApp. Users can create simple shops to market and sell their products, or convert their Twitter handle to a website in a few clicks.
OLITT has partnered with colleges such as Achievers College to introduce the platform to form 4 leavers, enabling them to become professional web developers in just an hour.
Regarding concerns that OLITT undermines the role of developers, David Murimi clarified that the platform partners with developers to fine-tune OLITT to their liking, allowing them to launch multiple stunning websites in a day.
OLITT offers a free plan for basic users and basic websites, which allows custom domain connection. The Pro features are available for as low as Ksh. 4k per year, or 199 bob per month for longer periods, including a free domain name for 1 year.
As of the launch, more than 8k websites were live on OLITT, with an average of 6 minutes taken to create each website.
