On June 25, 2021, Omosh appeared on TV47, sharing his struggles and revealing that many people who promised to help him gave empty promises.
He expressed his need for a camera, tripod, lights, and a microphone to produce his planned comedy skits, but admitted to using a significant portion of the donations to pay off debts.
According to Jalang'o, Omosh received more than Sh700,000 in cash from his show, with some individuals sending money directly to his bank account and phone number.
Politician Alinur Mohamed also contributed, gifting Omosh food worth Sh60,000 and an additional Sh100,000 in cash.
However, Omosh disputed Jalang'o's claims, stating that he received less than Sh1 million and used the funds to pay off debts, including a year and four months' worth of school fees.
He also expressed his gratitude for the donations, but emphasized the need for a camera, tripod, lights, and a microphone to produce his comedy skits.
