Published on June 25, 2021, gospel musician Bahati has denied claims that he has left the gospel music industry to pursue secular music.
Despite receiving backlash for collaborating with secular artists and releasing a song that dissed his fellow musicians, Bahati insists that he has not changed his ways.
His statement comes after self-proclaimed Gospel Music Chairman Apoko shared a video of Bahati saying that he will never leave God.
Bahati then shared the video and commented, 'DEAR GOD!!! …. I have Seen People Send & Tag Me to this Video. But Because Father You Know My Heart & Reasons You Know this is Still Me; this are still are My Words and You Know I Have Never Changed 🙏🙏🙏,'
He also expressed his desire to take his music to the world, saying, 'KEEP HOLDING MY HANDS AS I TAKE THIS KE 🇰🇪 🇰🇪🇰🇪 MUSIC TO THE 🌏🌏🌏.'
Despite the backlash, Bahati's new album #LOVELIKETHIS is trending on YouTube and Boomplay.
He is currently in Tanzania shooting a new music video with Rayvanny.
