On Madaraka Day this year, Telkom announced its commitment to providing easier access to its services for Kenyans. As part of this promise, the company has launched the Madaraka Life offer, which provides Telkom customers with a lifetime value of 1GB of free mobile internet data and 100 minutes of free talk time to make Telkom-to-Telkom calls every month.

Additionally, customers will be automatically registered to T-kash, Telkom's mobile money service, and receive an instant cashback of Sh50 to their mobile wallet upon successful registration.

According to Telkom's Chief Executive Officer, Mugo Kibati, making calls and accessing the internet are now basic needs for all Kenyans. He emphasized that Telkom is committed to empowering Kenyans with digital independence by providing easier access to essential technology services.

As the use of mobile internet data continues to grow, Telkom is developing new products and solutions to cater to the changing needs of its customers. The company has also integrated T-kash with the government's digital services platform, eCitizen, enabling customers to make payments for various services.
