Tecno Spark 7P Review ¶
Published on June 25, 2021
The Tecno Spark series is a line of budget-friendly smartphones that have been gaining popularity in recent years. As a senior editor at Nyakundi Report, I was excited to review the latest addition to the series, the Tecno Spark 7P.
One of the standout features of the Tecno Spark 7P is its high refresh rate display panel. This is a first for the Spark series, and it makes a big difference in terms of performance. The 6.8-inch HD+ display is large enough to suit the multimedia content consumption needs of young people, and it's also good enough for gaming.
The device's design is typical of Tecno's style, with a large screen and a slender frame. However, the back is very slippery, and you may want to consider using a case to prevent it from slipping out of your hands.
The cameras on the Tecno Spark 7P are okay in good lighting conditions, but they struggle in low-light situations. The selfie camera, however, is a different story. It features a dual flash that's not too blinding, and it produces some fairly good shots. The portrait mode is mostly a hit and miss affair, but it's still a nice feature to have.
One of the most impressive features of the Tecno Spark 7P is its long-lasting battery. I was able to squeeze two days of use out of it before needing to top up. However, the lack of a USB Type-C port and fast charging is a disappointment.
Overall, the Tecno Spark 7P is a solid choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly smartphone. It has more storage than past Spark series devices, good performance, and a long-lasting battery. While it may not be perfect, it's definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a new phone.
