The 2021 Safari Rally kicked off on June 24 with the Super Special Stage at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani in Nairobi, Kenya.

Drivers took to the 4.8km stage to demonstrate their driving skills to the public, including President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was in attendance.

The stage was not only a showcase of driving prowess but also a competitive one, with drivers earning time for the rally's overall standings.

After the Kasarani stage, the drivers headed to Naivasha, where the rally proper began on Friday morning.
