On Monday evening, the body of Mr. Kioko Mutie, headteacher of Yanyonge Primary School in Mwingi Central, Kitui County, was found in his office, leaving behind a trail of shock and confusion among residents.
According to eyewitnesses, Mr. Mutie, 46, had been experiencing stress and had been acting strangely in the days leading up to his death.
Despite an investigation, the reason behind his tragic demise remains unknown, with no suicide note left behind to explain his actions.
His body is currently being held at Mwingi hospital, awaiting further investigation and possible autopsy.
